CURRENT EVENT#2
The current event that I chose was the Vancouver Canucks vs Colorado Avalanche this game was one of the most important game to the Canucks because if they lost they would go to 5th place in the western conference, and if they won they would go in 3rd place in the western conference. In the first period the had no score , and in the second period there was still no score , and in the third period there was still no score. So they went to overtime and the score was 0-0 and then 40 seconds into overtime Henrik Sedin scored to end the game 1-0 for the Vancouver Canucks and Roberto Lunogo got his 9th stutout of the season. Now the Vancouver Canucks are in 3rd place in the western conference, and the Vancouver Canucks are going to playoffs. GO CANUCKS GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CURRENT EVENT#1
The current event that I chose is gang violence. Now the gang violence has been going around a lot and a lot of people have been getting killed and they have been getting beaten up and a lot of other things.Mostly the people that are getting killed and beaten is maybe all because of drug dealers that have turned into gangs. If two gangs fought with each other what would happen? What if groups of gangs formed toghter to make a one whole group of gangs what would happen? Well I think that if they make a whole group of gangs that the people can make up a lot of plans to kill others and put others to jail and if they don’t stop doing gang voilence then the police can put them in jail. All I have to say to sum it all up iis that ” There is a great streak of violence in every human being. If it is not chanelled and understoood, it will break out in war or in madness.” -Sam Peckinpah.

COURT HOUSE
On Tuesday March the 10 my class went to the Surrey court house. The first thing that we did was we had to wait in a long line up outside of the court house because we had to wait to go in the court house. After we got in the security had to look through our bags to check if we had any cell phones or electornics. After we went in to a classroom and a lady that worked in the court house told us some of the things that we could do in the court house and some of the things we could not do. After we went into groups to go and look at some of the cases. First my group and I went to this one case that the mans wife said that you are not even taking care of our child and only the wife was. The second one was that one man in hs 40′s robbed a recreation center. The third one we dont even know because we could not hear any thing. So after we saw a couple of cases we went back to the classroom to go and eat our lunch and talk about what we heard and saw. Then we went to a empty court room and did our mock trail of harry potter killing professor Qurillor and the jury decided that harry potter was not guilty of killing professor Qurillor so he was free to go. After our mock trail we went back to the classroom again to go and get all of our stuff and go and wait outside for the drivers that dropped us when we arrived to the court house. Some of things I wonder about are what is the box that the criminals had to sit in? One thing that I learned was that if you do the crime, you have to do the time!

The current event that I chose was on the attack in mumbai. On Wednesday evening several teams of gunmen lanuched coordinated attacks onthe Oberoi and Taj hotels. The killers began shooting and tossing hand grenades leaving somewhere between 100 and 125 victims dead. 300 wounded and a number of people including several canadians in hostage. horrifying news for a city family. Netwon resident Nirbhye Singh bhui said that Friday 21 year old neice, Jasmine Buirji was the frist to be shoot when the terrorists stormed in luxury Oberoi Hotel were she worked as manager.

CURRENT EVENT
The current event that I choose is the election that was being held in United States Of America for president. On Tuesday Nov.4 Barack Obama was elected president , he was the first African American to be elected for president in the United States Of America. In Jan.2009 Barack Obama will pack his things from Chicago and head off to the White House with his wife and 2 daughters and the new puppy that the 2 daughters have earned to bring to the White House.

The first best thing about me is I am polite. I am polite to all people I enclude them in any game with my friends. I say nothing that will hurt their feelings. The second best thing about me is that I am helpful. I am helpful because I am willing to help others when they need my help. Such as studing for tests, homework, and any other school work. Thirdly I am supportive. I am supportive because I help people with any problem they might have. Fourthly I am a good student because I get my homework done on time. I also help the teacher when he/she needs my help. Lastly I am friendly because I make friends with people that I find want to be my friend. Also I am nice to all people.

If I were in chare of the world I would make kids have s, and parentswould have to work 13 hours for 7 days a week. I also would want peace so no wars , no fighting , etc. I would make parents do there childerns homework for them instead of the kids doing it.I would also want everyone to be equal so nobobys poor , know one is made fun of just because of what religon they come from,how they look like and what they wear. On a holiday everyone gets a day off. Lastly I would want to make summer for 4 months instead of 2 months.

When I see myself in the future I would like to have accomplished a lot in my life like finishing my course in school , an education , and to have a good carreer. Some of the jobs that I am considering are being a teacher, owning a restaurant but whatever carreer I choose want to be successful and have a lot of money. I would like to be on a swim team, a volleyball team , and a soccer team. When I become older I will move out of my house and live on my own. With the money I have earned I will pay for taxes, home insurance and things for myself like clothes, jelewery and other nice things. I would also like to travel the world and go everywhere I didn’t go when I was a child.

ALL ABOUT ME#3
One of my favorite vacations trips was when my family and I drove up to Calofornia. We went for 2-3 weeks to visit my cousins. When we left it was 2:00 am in the morning and I was really tired I slept in my van and when I woke up we arrived to my cousins house. When we went inside I met all of my cousins and then had something to eat. A few days later we went to my aunts hotel ,we sat in the hot tub then we had dinner there. We also went to DisneyLand with my cousins it was a 7-8 hour drive.When we arrived we went to and stayed in another hotel, we all swam in the pool while my uncle and my dad went to go get dinner. The next day we all went to Disneyland, we went on a lot of rides like a Roller Coaster, Bumper cars, canoeing and a pirate ship ride . We also went to meet the Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goffy. We also went to Universal Studios and there we went to the Jurassic Park Ride and watched a Live Fear Factor show. It was a lot of fun and I would love to go back to visit again in the future.

The most important person in my life is my mom. My mom is very important to me because she loves me, she is willing to listen and understands me.She also helps me when I don’t understand my homework and helps me study for tests.My mom is very smart and fun to be with. Some of the things she likes to do are shopping, spending time with her loving kids, watching movies, cooking, and traveling. Some of my mom’s personalites are she is kind, caring, helpful, generous, sweet, and loving person.I love my mom she is the best.
